These courses aim to help plumbers and heating engineers who want to install Heat Pumps to comply with the appropriate Building Regulations and Standards. The BPEC Heat Pump Systems programme is recognised as a demonstration of competence for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).
Our training facilities are unique and custom built to include a realistic working environment and simulated the workplace. This 4 day course will normally consist of a combination of practical and theory assessments. Candidates will be assessed in the workshop followed by a multiple choice question paper. Successful completion of this course will result in an industry wide recognised certificate of competency validation.
This course is split into the two areas which can be undertaken as individual areas or both.
e.g. Heat Pump Technology + Air Source or Heat Pump Technology + Ground Source or Heat Pump Technology + Air and Ground Source.
