Content
Across five areas of People, Path, Planning, Platform and Procedures, the ECITB Foundation UAS training course gives operatives an understanding of drone functionality and how to conduct operations on industrial sites, safely, effectively and efficiently. It covers how to comply with site policies and procedures and is assessed by a practical flight competence test, where operatives pilot a real drone in a real environment and capture, store and share viable images, complying with data protection. To support transferability of skills and competence for operatives, the course contains a consistently examined, quality-assured assessment that is consistent across all providers.
