BPEC has developed this training/assessment course which is ideal for experienced electricians, plumbers, ventilation installers and heating engineers looking to improve their knowledge and understanding of domestic ventilation systems. The course has been structured to meet the requirements of the Approved Document Part F of the Building Regulations 2020 and is recognised as a demonstration of competence for Competent Person Schemes (CPS).

Entry Requirements

Who should attend the course:

  • Candidates with a number of years' experience in plumbing, heating, electrical engineering or ventilation
  • Candidates who hold a formal qualification at NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, heating or electrical engineering or
  • Apprentices who are currently undertaking a course which will lead to a formal qualification such as the above mentioned NVQ 3 level.

This course is designed to meet the requirements of the manufacturers for the installation, inspection, testing, commissioning and provision of information for fixed Domestic Ventilation Systems for both new and existing buildings currently available in the UK.
