Future Skills - Just Transition

**It’s not too late to apply — we’re still accepting applicants.** The Future Skills Programme is a joint initiative between Forth Valley College and Falkirk Council’s Employment & Training Unit, designed to equip individuals with the practical, technical and employability skills needed to access opportunities in Scotland’s growth sectors, including renewable energy, digital technology, engineering, construction, transport and logistics.

Description

Programme Aims

The programme is designed to:

  • Develop highly desirable and transferrable skills that support progression into sustainable employment.
  • Build awareness of Scotland’s net zero transition and the demand for low-carbon skills.
  • Enhance employability through hands-on learning, recognised qualifications and direct industry contact.
  • Strengthen meta-skills such as self-management, social intelligence, innovation and resilience.
