The purpose of the course is to provide candidates with good understanding of the applicable industry standards and best practice, focusing on safe assembly and improving bolted flange integrity.

Group booking for up to 12 candidates.

The Flange Integrity course has been developed with industry partners to provide candidates with the knowledge required for correct assembly of hand torqued flanges. The purpose of the course is to provide candidates with good understanding of the applicable industry standards and best practice, focusing on safe assembly and improving bolted flange integrity. Industry incidents will be reviewed to help candidates understand the importance of these assemblies and where these learning points can be applied to their own practice.

As well as providing background theory, candidates will be given a practical demonstration of correct flange bolting techniques and will have an opportunity to carry out their own assembly in purpose-built workshops. The practical element will allow candidates to practice in a controlled environment with support for queries throughout.

NOTE: The content of the Flange Integrity course can be specifically tailored for industry cohorts to include the company internal standards and assembly guidance.

These temporary fittings may be used for various purposes such as Nitrogen purging of process vessels.
