Completion of the L9 SVQ provides clear evidence that a candidate works to Nationally recognised Occupational Standards.
Work based qualification.
The qualification is awarded by the SQA in partnership with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). The CMI will provide candidates with 12 months FREE Studying Membership / Resources to assist them with their qualification.
The qualification can be completed electronically.
Content
The L9 Management SVQ is made up of 8 units these are:
4 Mandatory Units:
- Develop Operational Plans
- Provide Leadership in your Area of Responsibility
- Develop & Sustain Productive Working Relationships with Stakeholders
- Manage Business Processes
Plus 4 additional Optional Units (choice of 54).
- Plan Change
- Implement Change
- Managing Conflict
- Recruit/Select & Retain Staff
You will collate work evidence to demonstrate your competency within your management role.
Prerequisites
- Candidates must be employed where they are carrying out relevant tasks and responsibilities which allow them to gather the required evidence.
- Candidates who wish to obtain a formal qualification.
- No prior qualifications are required to undertake this qualification.
