This course aims to train individuals on how to demonstrate and improve manual handling techniques used within the workplace.

Description

This course aims to train individuals on how to reduce risk of injury by identifying and controlling the hazards whilst in the workplace under the Manual Handling Operations Regulation 1992 (MHOR).

Content

The course will look at:

  • Outline the risks associated with Manual handling
  • Outline measures to reduce risk
  • Manual handling laws under MHOR 1992
  • Demonstrate application of good posture and movement
  • Practice personal evaluations

Candidates may be interested in studying IOSH Working Safely, IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety.
