This course provides comprehensive coverage of BS 7671:2018 + Amendment 4 (2026), giving candidates the essential knowledge and certification required to remain compliant with current UK electrical safety standards.

Amendment 4, released in April 2026, is now live and introduces significant technical changes affecting modern electrical installations. Anyone responsible for the design, installation, inspection or testing of electrical systems must understand and apply these updates to remain compliant and reduce professional and organisational risk.

Successful completion of this course enables candidates to confidently apply the latest regulations in practice and meet employer, client and regulatory expectations.

  • 3 Days of expert-led classroom instruction
  • Exam on Day 4 (final session 09.30am) dedicated to a 2-hour, 60-question OPEN BOOK multiple choice exam

These regulations are recognised by the British Standards Institute as a British Standard (BS7671).

There is an open-book online examination based on the entire BS 7671:2018+A4:2026 manual and incorporates all changes from previous editions.

Entry Requirements

  • Candidates must be aged 18 or over to qualify for this course.
