Solar Photovoltaic Systems, NOS Mapped
BPEC has developed this course with the aim of providing electricians with the skills and knowledge required to install small scale photovoltaic (PV) systems. The course has been structured to meet the requirements of the National Occupational Standards and is recognised as a demonstration of competence for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).
Description
Our training facilities are unique and custom built to include a realistic working environment and simulated the workplace. This course is a requirement of the Minimum Technical Competency document for PV installers and is recognised by the MCS operators as evidence of suitable training.
This 3 day course will enable candidates to select the most appropriate solar Photovoltaic system for a property to meet the client’s needs and to commission and handover the system. It will also provide an understanding of all the legal issues surrounding the installation of these systems and guidance on completion and submission of all the appropriate notifications.
