Team? What Team? Why is it that my team feels dysfunctional? Why do we find it difficult to work together? What can I do differently? Surely it’s my manager’s fault? Other teams seem to work well together – why can’t we?

Do I find it stressful conversing with others? Perhaps sometimes having ‘conversation brainfreeze’ – finding it difficult to keep a conversation flowing? This course challenges delegates to consider what motivates people at work and review a range of motivational techniques in order to create a high performing team. The role of feedback and the tools to monitor effectiveness of applied motivational techniques will be explored as well.

Are you a little uncertain about how the laws that protect workers from harassment, and the laws that make tackling bullying a statutory duty for employers? Are you not clear about what you can do to make sure that bullying and harassment are prevented?

This workshop is designed to help delegates to solve work-based problems and make decisions to bring value to both the organisation and its customers. With a focus on getting to the root cause of problems, delegates will be introduced to tools to help generate and assess a range of options in order to devise solutions that stick.

This programme provides an introduction to what is involved in the role of a supervisor and explores the skill set and attributes needed to be an effective supervisor. The course also explores the principles of leadership and motivation; team characteristics; time management; communication and listening skills; managing conflict.

This programme is designed to support and train a cohort of young people to have the basic skills to be a direct hire for Industrial Applications in the Engineering Industry. There are 6 large employers keen to support this programme and grow their pool of “semi-skilled workers” by guaranteeing interviews for young people on completion of this programme.

In this course, participants will learn everything from basic project management skills to how to effectively manage a project with success.
