Do I find it stressful conversing with others? Perhaps sometimes having ‘conversation brainfreeze’ – finding it difficult to keep a conversation flowing? Am I currently able to build rapport with new and existing clients, colleagues and managers? Does the way I say things often deter from what I have said? Can I effectively use body language to compliment and positively reinforce my oral message?
Description
- Review your current behaviour and communication style
- Identify situations where you will likely need to communicate effectively
- Identify and implement what others do to communicate effectively
- Use communication techniques such as listening; questions; positive body language and providing feedback effectively
- Have difficult conversations and resolve conflict through effective communication skills
- Build rapport with new and existing clients, colleagues and managers
- Develop a personal and practical plan of action to communicate more effectively

An interactive Tutor-led workshop delivered as a class or as a 1-1 session. The use of role-plays, group exercises, multi-media and self-assessment tools are incorporated into the workshop.
