CompEx Gas & Vapours (Ex01-04)

CompEx 01-04 provides candidates with the relevant training and practical assessments on the installation, maintenance and inspection of electrical and instrumental systems in a flammable gas, vapour or mist environment. Please note we recommend completing the CompEx Foundation 1 Day Course as a prerequisite prior to attending this course.

CompEx Mechanical (Ex11)

CompEx 11 Mechanical and Flange Integrity Core Competence Certification This CompEx Ex11 course determines the core competency of Mechanical Practitioners (Technicians & Engineers) working in explosive atmospheres. **Please note we recommend completing the CompEx Foundation 1 Day Course as a prerequisite prior to attending this course.**

CompEx Recognised Practitioners Programme (RPP) (Ex01R-04R) (CompEx Refresher Course)

All CompEx certified practitioners are required to recertify every 5 years. There are two routes for recertification for Gas and Vapours (Ex01 – Ex04).

CompEx DUST (Ex05-06)

City & Guilds Inspection and Testing 2391-52 (Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection)

Please be aware this is a 5 day course in week one. Week two attendance is required for one day between Monday - Thursday to carry out the Practical Exam with a further Online Exam on the Friday morning. This is a free programme funded by the Scottish Government NOLB & Clackmannanshire Council. The course recognises the UK shortage in labourers and provides candidates with awarding body certification to allow them to access a range of work sites. Although the focus is on building sites the qualifications provided through the course are transferable and provide employers across a range of sectors with the confidence that applicants are safe to be on site.
